Mila's "early" birthday celebrations

So this weekend we headed back up to Cambridge to celebrate Mila's birthday, ahead of the actual day, and went for a walk in Wimpole Hall just outside of Cambridge.

Claire, Annabel, Freddy, Helen, Barbara, Mila & I had a lovely walk around the grounds. Looking forward to coming back in Summer for a picnic. Freddy, Claire & I went up the stairs to re-create a scene from Pride & Predjuice, sadly couldn't find my Mr Darcy (Yet!).

Then it was a cuppa tea & a slice of lemon cake before heading home.

And ofcourse there was Harry Hedgehog who came to celebrate also:

Sabine's Mexican Farewell Party

So Helen and I drove up to Cambridge last Saturday as Sabine was going back to Germany and she had decided to have a Mexican themed farewell party. It started at Mila's for magherita's & Mexican food. An impromptu performance from Claire & Annabel started the party.

We then headed to the Hidden Rooms in Cambridge for more drinks and dancing.

Then we hit the Kam Bar for a final boogie & shots of tequila.

Finally made it home about 2amish! A fantastic night spent with Sabine even though we were losing her to Germany!

Good Luck Sabine, we will miss you! But looking forward to our next trip to Berlin!

Dean's Birthday Cake & Celebrations

So on Wednesday it was Dean's birthday and as he is an avid sky diver I thought it only appropriate to make a cake in this theme. Yes everything was edible. I made the little model out of icing and edible marker pen.

After work we all headed off to The Big Chill Bar for a few drinks, unfortunately a few turned into tooooo many!

Thursday morning was a massive struggle! But I managed to get through the day and then we had our Come Dine with Me finale. A hilarious evening watching all the scoring from each dinner. Movie to be uploaded shortly.
