Shoes & training

So the Easter weekend has begun and it's only 12hours till my chocfest starts after 40 days! I can't wait, got a smartie egg, a mint egg & a chocolate button one. Not sure which will go down first.

Yesterday I had to meet up with Nat as I left my purse in her bag so I got Princess out and we had our first run- 6 miles! Brilliant, luckily it was flat all the way.

Today I headed over to the mail centre to pick up my new shoes!!! Yes the old puma's have been replaced. The cycle today was 9 miles so tomorrow we will have to go a little further afield.

And strawberries are growing!

Louisa's birthday

It was Louisa's birthday so it was cake and celebration time! I made her a double layered banana cake with butter cream icing in the middle & top with fresh strawberries. Pretty delicious.

We got her some pressies, my fav was the air freshner I made for her because Taz (her puppy) really lets them rip! he he he

Friday night we went out to Gem Bar which is off Regents Street. Pretty cheesey music and it was rammed but had such a laugh. I was super tanked and eventually just had to leave. Reckon I got home about 2am.

Today I struggled BIG TIME! I had to get up early to go to softball training, it was horrendous. I actually couldn't do anything, I had to lie there and do nothing. Then I headed to West Norwood and picked up my new bike!!! She is beautiful, stayed tuned for a pic of her tomorrow!

I'm back....

I know it's been awhile. Can't even remember what I've been up to but on Monday I baked a cake for Adrian's birthday. His request/challenge was an authentic German cheese cake. And although it looked a bit odd and I added lemon juice as a twist Adrian gave it two thumbs up.

The difference between cheesecakes is the German one uses Quark not creme cheese and has a pastry base not a biscuit base.

It was ok, not really my cuppa tea, but it wasn't my birthday!

We also had a work night out at Bar 38 down at Canary Wharf. It was a great night and we danced the night away before being kicked out at midnight!

And we went out for St Patricks day
