Carrot cupcakes with honey cream cheese icing

AMAZING! The icing, honey cream cheese was so nice and no sugar is used, only the natural honey gives it the sweetness. So tasty. The heart shaped one is for Mark as he paid for the taxi home and this is pay back for that!

So managed to get a hair colour stripper and have got rid of the black that was in my hair am officially back to brunette!

Harry on IMAX

Charlene, Tom and I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 at the IMAX in Waterloo. It was great, although you didn't have to see it in 3D. They managed to keep true to the book which was fantastic. And we looked amazing with our glasses on!

Karaoke

My softball team decided to have a Karaoke night and we hit Union on George Street. We booked the downstairs section and belted out tunes all night long! My favourite was 9-5 with Dolly!

Black is Black

So after the dilemma of the hair colour I tried to put another colour (chocolate brown) over the top to try to soften the colour. DON'T BOTHER! It still looks black. Oh well guess I'm going to have to live with it until it fades. Atleast I've learnt a valuable lesson! Use semi permanent not permanent colours just in case.

Off to the movies tonight to see Bad Teacher. Should be a good laugh.

Black as night

Sooooo found a hair dye in the cupboard last and thought why not. It said Natural Darkest Brown.... it turned my hair BLACK!!

Will be buying a lighter brown tonight to counteract this horrendous colour!

London Dungeons

So after a tiring weekend, spent showing local residents around, Mark & I went to London Dungeons. HILARIOUS. Had such a great time and couldn't stop laughing.

Have a go at Mark on the 20m free fall drop. So much fun, although it did take 2 hours so wouldn't hurry back. We were told if we wanted something scary we should go to London Tombs so I think thats next on the agenda.

A lazy Sunday in July.....

So finally put all the bits together on the bike. Above is the puncture kit which fits securely onto the back of the bike.
Below you will see the water bottle attached. Princess doesn't have the appropriate screws so I had to get cable ties and secure the bottle in place.

The zipper on my bag broke, I love this bag, Inger got it for me from Denmark recently so I decided to replace it. See below the new zipper I have sewed in. Brilliant job if I do say so myself.

So I won Foundation Rep of the quarter and my prize was £100 vouchers at John Lewis. The vouchers were 4 x £25 so I went and bought 4 things to change the vouchers into cash. I bought the zipper, a card for Henry, spray for shoes and jelly molds. Awesome spending money that I got for free. I then was going to spend half the money then put the rest on my credit card.......oh well it was a nice thought. Once I got to Dorothy Perkins I found so many things I wanted so I managed to get 4 new tops! WHOOO HOOO

Busy Week

So what a busy week. We had dinner for Tom's birthday on Monday, the Thai place was delicious and it was heaps of fun.

Tuesday was an awful day at work, so went to Spitalfield markets with Tom & Adrian and we had dinner at Giraffe's which was tasty. A nice way to spend the evening not thinking about work and the sad events of the day.

Wednesday, Charlene, Tom & I went to see the Hangover 2 near Queensway. We had to wrap Tom's present because we hadn't given it to him yet, so we sat down to wrap it at a coffee shop without realising that Tom had a perfect view of us from 2 floors up! So much for the surprise, oh well he liked the gift, a Transformers lunchbox.

Thursday I played softball and we won 22-2 which was a great win, then headed to the local pub to meet up with some friends from work as a couple of people are leaving. It was a good evening, only a couple of drinks then home.

Friday we had farewell drinks for Helena who leaves site to go back to head office. Had a very funny time at the Tav, got home before midnight which was a bonus.

Have lazed around all day today doing nothing! Brilliant.
