Well it was the May bank holiday so we had 3 days off!
Friday I got to work only to realise I had forgotten my phone. Usually this wouldn't be too much of a drama but I was going straight to Cambridge for the whole weekend. Oh well not much I could do about it. I left work early (2.30pm) and headed up to Mila's for a quiet night watching telly.
Saturday morning we were up early and off to enjoy our day at the Belfry Hotel in Cambourne. (Mila had got me a going away pressie of a day at a spa) So upon arrival we went straight to the gym for an hour & a half work out, then it was out to the tennis courts for a game (Mila kicked butt!) then a bit of lunch followed by a 
swim, a steam, a sauna & a spa. It was so amazing and really nice after our active morning. Then we sat outside and had a cuppa tea & lemon tart reading magazines. To finish we both had massages so we were nice and relaxed. An amazing day and worth 
doing. We got home about 6ish and it was straight in the shower as we were going to meet Colin & Jamie for dinner at my fav Japanese restaurant in Cambridge - Teri Aki. I love the food there. After dinner we met up with Charlie and headed to our fav drinking hole, The Castle. We managed to get a window seat and had a huge laugh calling out to all the drunks walking past. Sooo much fun.

Sunday we were up early again as we were off to Newmarket Racecourse for my work's day out. We got all dressed up and off we went. We had amazing views at the finishing post and our own table in the restaurant. 
Unfortunately no big wins, only 2 out of 7 but 
soo much fun. Annabel & Claire joined us as people had dropped out so Martin had heaps of spare tickets. It was really nice to see the old team. The races went all day and by the time we got home, all we did was watch Indiana Jones & the Lost Ark.

This morning (Monday) we met up again with Claire & Annabel and we headed over to the Vue cinema to watch "Made of Honour" a totally girly flick and was really fun to watch. Lunch at the girls house outside! as the weather was amazing. Then had to shoot off back to Portsmouth. Made it back in a record time as for some reason there was no traffic!
